Green Roof to Top Off Yawkey Center at Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston

Aug 1, 2010 – Dana-Farber matches innovation with environmental concerns.  Shortly, Dana-Farber’s Yawkey Center for Cancer Care will sport a rooftop with grass and sedum that will help control the building’s internal temperature, cutting heating costs.  Nearby air quality will improve and rainwater runoff will decrease.  This energy conservation really is green energy!
