Samsung Solar Powered Cell Phone
July 9, 2009 – Samsung is introducing Samsung’s Blue Earth solar-powered mobile phone on which the whole back is a solar panel. The Blue Earth is constructed of PCM, a plastic of mostly recycled plastic bottles. It will be available in the UK in late 2009 with no date set for the US introduction.
