HAPPY 233RD BIRTHDAY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A GREAT DAY. ENJOY THE FIREWORKS TONIGHT. Some towns have eliminated them due to budget cutbacks, despite having had them for 232 years through booms, busts, wars and peace. If your town has cut out the fireworks this year, watch great displays of “Capitol Fourth” from Washington, DC at 8 pm on public broadcasting, “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” at 9 pm on NBC, and the “Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular” from the Hatch Shell in Boston at 10 pm on CBS.
