Roger Federer Wins French Open, 14th Grand Slam
Jun 7, 2009 – Roger Federer won his 14th Grand Slam title today at Roland-Garros in Paris, France. The day was cloudy and there was even a small amount of rain; not a good day for solar power. He also became only the sixth man to win all 4 Grand Slam championships: Australian, French, Wimbledon, and the US Open. His victory in 3 sets was over Robin Soderling of Sweden, 6-1, 7-6 (1), 6-4. John McEnroe called him the greatest player in history during his after-match interview. See the full report.

Yes Federer finally did it. He won French Open now we can safely say that he is the greatest player of all time. Some says it would have been different if Nadal was in final but I don’t think so, Nadal wasn’t playing as good as federer. FedEx defeated him easily in Madrid and would have done the same in Paris.
