CONTEST: Win 3-pack of CFL Bulbs

May 6, 2009 – See how bright you are compared to other readers of this blog.  I will be driving from San Francisco to Minneapolis during May using a sight-seeing route [i.e., not direct route per MapQuest.]  Full Disclosure:  The rented car is not a hybrid, but it is also not an SUV.  Place your comment here with the mileage that I will drive.  It is as simple as that.  The official mileage will be the mileage determined by the rental company when I turn in the car and the earliest comment posted on this blog with the answer closest to that mileage will be the winner.  There is one other requirement:  You must be signed up as a fan of GreenEnergyForEarth.com on Technorati [You will have to register with Technorati to do this.] During May there will be occasional updates on the unofficial mileage and location so it will be to your advantage to keep checking back here to be able to make another guess.  Multiple comments are allowed [no more than once a day!]  It is said that in 1851 after the first regatta of what is now known as the America’s Cup, Queen Victoria asked a signalmaster, “Are the yachts in sight?”  “Only the America, may it please Your Majesty.”  “Which is second?”  “Ah, Your Majesty, there is no second.”  Ergo, there is no second prize in this contest.  There are not pages of official rules.  My decision is final, so don’t ask your lawyer to protest any decision if you do not win.  Hey, it’s not Powerball, it’s a pack of CFL bulbs.  Good luck.
