Sharp Corporation – Green Company?
Most of us know Sharp as the maker of LCDs and electronics. But as their new ad points out Sharp has produced more than 2 GW of solar cells, one fourth of the world’s current total capacity and more than any other single producer. The tag lines for their ad are “Sharp: A world leading solar company.” and “CHANGE YOUR POWER / CHANGE YOUR PLANET”. The headline of the ad repeats the information that we know, “WITH THE SUNLIGHT THAT HITS THE EARTH IN ONE HOUR, WE COULD POWER THE WORLD FOR A YEAR.” Sounds simple.
