What Gets 8 Miles per Gallon & Is Green?
Nov 7, 2008 – No, it is not a green Lamborghini. See Linda Baker’s “The Green RV” article in the New York Times today if you didn’t think it was possible. RVs get an average of 8 mpg as they travel around the USA. Can they be green? Yes, with GPS-controlled solar panels, wind turbines, biodiesel, rainwater, LED lights, . Think Willie Nelson’s biobus, BioWillie. 18% of RVs already use solar panels. Can we get that percentage of homes using solar panels? That would be great.
