Hurricane Ike Heading to Gulf Coast Gas & Oil Facilities

Sep 9, 2008 – Hurricane Ike spared Florida, but is heading to the northwestern Gulf region including the Texas shoreline after pounding Haiti and Cuba.  Landfall should be further west than that of Gustav.  All production and refineries in the region are taking precautions as the course may change from that currently projected.     Map courtesy of US National Hurricane Center.
