Wind Power at Democratic Convention

There is so much wind being produced at the Democratic convention in Denver by politicians talking about what they are going to do to solve the energy crisis using green energy methods that it could power the INVESCO Center for a whole season.  Don’t get me wrong; this is not a comment on Democrats, but rather on politicians from both parties.  Expect the same from the Republican’s next week at their convention in Minneapolis-Saint Paul.  In the green energy field it is the public that is the leader and the politicians the followers.  Very little has been done to create a sense of urgency over the last decades with both parties in power at different times in Congress and the White House.  Thankfully, the capitalist system works quickly to change the population’s mindset when prices go up.  Unfortunately, developing new technology, building new solar power and wind power generators and the infrastructure to distribute the energy from where it is produced to where it is used takes much longer to implement than the change in attitude.

Check back here for more analysis of the recommendations from both conventions.
