SUNTECH Stock Powers Upwards
Suntech Power Holdings Ltd. [STP ], a leading PV solar energy company, seems to be doing what STP motor oil additive used to do for your car’s engine. STP closed today up $2.05 [4.59%] at $46.75. As we noticed in an earlier post STP was $34 as recently as August 15. Of course, it was $88 at the beginning of the year. As reported in the same earlier post, STP reported very positive 2Q 2008 results with revenue up 51% to $480 million and net income was $65.2 million. Most 2Q financial results for a number of solar and wind power companies have been coming in with very positive increases.
