DuPont and Photovoltaics [PVs]
The DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions group takes DuPont science and technology from across DuPont’s many global business units to help support the dramatic growth in this industry with its comprehensive portfolio of innovative materials and services. DuPont has been developing PV materials for over 20 years in order to increase the efficiency and longevity of solar modules as well as meet green manufacturing guidelines. This is consistent with DuPont’s vision to create more sustainable solutions worldwide.
DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions will participate in the European Solar Energy Conference on September 1-4 at the Feria Valencia in Valencia, Spain [see separate post discussing this upcoming meeting].
PVS products and businesses that will be featured by DuPont™ at Valencia are DuPont Elvax® copolymer resins, Teflon® fluoropolymer film, Tedlar® for UV- and weather resistant backsheets, Kapton® polyimide film, Butacite® PV sheets among other materials used in the PV field.
