Cadillac 2009 Escalade SUV Hybrid Coming Soon
Cadillac is introducing its 2009 Escalade SUV Hybrid in Fall 2008. It will have a 2-Mode Hybrid system that will have a 50% improvement in city fuel economy. That is only 20 mpg in city and 21 mpg on the highway. That is far from the mileage for a Prius or a Mini, but this SUV is capable of towing 6,000 lbs in 2WD and 5,700 lbs in 4WD. Even though you are driving an SUV, this Escalade will have distinctive labeling so that people will know that you are going green driving a hybrid. The MSRP is $71,685, which is $3,600 more than a comparable Escalade with a standard engine.
