Sailing and Kayaking – Green Energy Friendly Activities
The advantage of sailing and kayaking over powerboats is the use of little or no fuel. Sailing is an enjoyable activity that uses wind power. Fuel is used when there is little wind, when you are navigating directly into the wind and sometimes before and after docking. The amount of fuel used is much less than with a powerboat. The engine can be used to charge batteries for onboard electical and electronic equipment but there are alternatives. Solar cells can be used to charge the batteries. Also small wind turbine generators are available for boats. SeaEagle has inflatable boats including sailboats and kayaks.
Kayaking is a human-powered activity and good exercise for you. The energy needed comes from the food you eat.

Sailing and kayaking are fun activities and enjoyable hobbies. Using less energy than powerboats also makes it less costly.
